Who Should Join The Fundraising Academy?

Are you someone who wants to change the world but doesn’t know where to start?

The Fundraising Academy can help you break into the world of not-for-profit organisations and enable them to raise more funds and do more good work.

 

This is also a great opportunity to build the capacity of individuals already working in the NGO sector!

 

Let us teach you the art of fundraising. In this four-month course, you will

• learn with experienced professional fundraisers in an intimate group and a wide range of classes;

• participate in an internship experience that will provide you with hands-on experience (and a stipend!);

• receive guidance that will go beyond the classroom and beyond your time in the program.
   

We are looking for 18- to 35-year-olds to join our next course starting in August 2014.

 

The course is nearly accredited and is the only one of its kind in South Africa. The full course fee for the highly-subsidized course is R4,900 and the internship provides R3,000 (total cost to you = R1,900). Bursaries available.
